Q: How is ImprovAcadia Presents different from the first 17 years?
A: We now offer a variety of entertainment. See our Calendar page for more info.
Q: Will it be as good as it used to be?
A: Yes but now there will be something for everyone. We will still have several weeks of our signature improv but now we will also offer top notch music, magic, stand up comedy, game nights.
Q: Are the 8pm shows appropriate for children?
A: This will depend on the act.
Q: Are the specialty cocktails good?
A: Yes, and they're delicious! We offer a range of seasonally inspired cocktails that are handmade to order.
Q: Should I make reservations?
A: Yes, especially in July and August we often sell out the shows. Reservations are always suggested!
Q: Are specific tables reserved or is it general seating?
A: For the most part it's general seating. First come, first served. Certain numbered parties can only fit in certain tables. We try to accomodate customers' preferences as much as possible.
Q: Do you have an elevator?
A: Yes, an elevator is located through the courtyard of Bayside Landing and goes up to the second floor across our deck to our side door.

We have a full bar including specialty drinks, local and imported beers, and wine.
We have non alcoholic drinks, light snacks, and locally made desserts.

Directions and parking
Located in downtown Bar Harbor, 15 Cottage St is near the corner of Main St. on Cottage, just up the hill from the harbor. We're on the second floor above Great Maine Breakfast. Our door with a green awning and our name is to the left of Great Maine Breakfast. We're across the street from Epi's and the Village Emporium.
The metered parking ends at 8pm. Cottage St. has a 4 hour limit until 8pm so there should be turnover available spots near us.

Improvision
ImproVision is our collaboration with Reel Pizza. Reel Pizza shows a really bad film with no sound and the cast of ImprovAcadia improvises an entirely new dialogue and sound track based on an audience inspired suggestion of a film style. Hilarity ensues.
